In the physical side, excessive sweating can lead to dehydration if the person is not having adequate fluid intake to compensate the loss of water and other nutrients; also various skin conditions arise due to sweating.
As for psychological damages, such excessive sweating is embarrassing and the person becomes very self-conscious or has low self confidence due to this factor. The good news is, if you are suffering from hyperhidrosis, there are various ways to stop sweating naturally and most of them can be made or found in your home. Once great method is using loofah to gently exfoliate the skin; but that loofah should be natural i.e. it should be the dried remnants of the luffa plant as that is said to have great health benefits. So here in details is how you are going to stop sweating naturally with loofah:
First of all gather the things you will need. As said before, you will need a loofah sponge that is totally natural. You will also need a natural soap, one without any color, antiperspirants or scents. You will also need one hand towel and one soft body towel. Lastly, make sure your deodorant is without any antiperspirant chemicals.
Using the soap that is devoid of any chemical particles, lather up your body rather generously. If there are chemical additives in the soap, then that might irritate the sweat glands of your body which will defeat the whole purpose of how to stop sweating naturally. For lathering up, use only your hands.
Now rinse off the soap from your body totally. You will use the loofah for cleaning the remaining residues that are there in the pores which will invigorate the sweat glands in your body. To use the loofah first wet it well as dry ones are too abrasive for sensitive skins.
Using a circular motion, rub the loofah all over your body. One each part of your body, devote about 10 seconds to thoroughly clean it. That will make sure all dead skin cells are gone and glands are conditioned. After you are fully done with the whole body, rinse off with fresh water for several minutes.
After you have washed off really well, use a soft towel to pat dry yourself. Do not forget to squeeze extra water from the loofah as well. If you do not keep it dry, then mildew and moisture will gather in it which can be dangerous for your skin.
The last step of your battle to stop sweating naturally is applying a deodorant that is free of any scent or does not contain any added chemicals. Apply such an antiperspirant to your freshly cleaned pores; the other kinds, which are scented and with chemicals can stop your sweat glands from functioning normally. So choose wisely while selecting your deodorant.
