7 Ways To Fight Forehead Wrinkles

Don't you just hate it when light or deep wrinkles appear on your forehead? It is no doubt that making them less visible will result to a more youthful appearance.
If you are tired of those forehead wrinkles, here are seven ways to help make them become less visible.
First, take regular intake of healthy foods to help enhance your skin and fight off free radicals which are known to cause wrinkling and formation of fine lines. Eat vegetables and fruits regularly as well as fish to nourish the cells.
Second, ensure that you are well hydrated. Drink the right amount of water and lots of other healthy liquids like natural juice or tea packed with antioxidants. Drinking water will help your body flush out harmful toxins that can damage the dermis.
If your facial skin is not properly hydrated, it will dry out and age faster. Cut down on your alcohol intake. Alcohol is known to dehydrate the skin.
Third, get proper sleep. Enough sleep on a regular basis will help the cells to repair themselves from the wear and tear process that they go through every day.
In addition, protect yourself from sun. Excessive sunlight has been known to contribute to premature aging causing wrinkle and age spot formation. Oils and water get lost when exposed to sunlight and as a result, collagen including elastin is weakened, resulting into wrinkle formation.
Another useful approach is to quit smoking which often leads to poor blood circulation. Poor circulation means that enough oxygen and nutrients do not get into the cells, speeding up the aging process of the dermis.
An additional technique is to manage your strong emotions and stress that could cause you to squint and frown. These repetitive movements causes repeated wear and tear on the support structure and eventually forehead wrinkles appear over a period of time.
Finally, apply an anti-wrinkle moisturizer cream with natural ingredients such as antioxidants, to work and stimulate the growth of new skin cells resulting in lesser forehead wrinkles.
Dry, flaky skin is more susceptible to damages and more prone to the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Moisturize your facial skin with creams that are loaded with natural ingredients such as honey and other essential fats.

  1. I hate so much my forehead wrinkles....Very upset and stressed because of them! I was thinking to undergo a botox treatment in St. Catharines to get rid of these ugly wrinkles. I have to look for a great cosmetic clinic and a reputable and professional surgeon. Can anyone give me some suggestions??? Thank you!
